 Manufacturing capacity is managed through the EFACS management system and additional resource is added as required to meet demand.
Manufacturing operations are carried out in modern and well equipped facilities. The vast majority of the production is carried out on state of the art CNC equipment including
- Turning 5mm up to 380mm dia (65mm bar feed), 1000mm lg
- Milling 5mm up to 500mm cube
- Thread Rolling up to 0.75 inch dia
Equipment is also in place to carry out specialised operations such as small bore deep hole drilling, honing, and thread rolling on components with complex geometries. Thread rolling is applied to complex components manufactured in house and in the manufacture of Qualified Threaded Fasteners.
The dimensional accuracy and tolerances of finished products are verified and electronically recorded on some of the world's most advanced equipment, and rolled threads are validated both dimensionally and for, grain flow & thread form. |
