 A unique strength of our quality assurance system is our approach to material validation.
Our materials are 100% checked on receipt to ensure that delivered materials are permanently marked to match the specification and certification supplied, but it does not stop there. We re-check materials in-process in our manufacturing facility to ensure that there can be no ‘cross over’ of materials. Finished goods are checked before posting to stores, and goods withdrawn from stores are checked again prior to shipment.
In short everything that is humanly possible is checked and double checked to give our customers and ourselves peace of mind.
Materials checking includes chemical analysis using x-ray refraction technology with full electronic recording of results. Hardness checks and other physical tests are carried out as required and grain flow is monitored through our thread validation section in our laboratory (See Quality/Laboratory Facilities). |
